Welcome to this new series where we will explore the city of Bengaluru and paint you a picture of how a grand vision has turned into a nightmare for its citizens.
In episode 4, SoSouth's Afreen Hussain explores the long pending Ejipura flyover construction which has been inconveniencing commuters in the area.
But with the work being resumed, this much awaited Ejipura flyover may finally see the light of the day after a prolonged delay of about 5 years.

Crazy how I visited Ejipura Flyover 10 years ago, and it was still under construction.
It's not a flyover it's a monument
Bane, even Navi mumbai is lot better than so called silicon Valley bangalore. Karnataka gov should build green field city like dholera that gujrat is building . Bengalore and mumbai has same problem, both are old cities , lack of infrastructure, traffics etc
This project was conceived 15 years back assuming traffic of that time. Now current traffic situation has changed. Even after flyover is ready it won't help ease traffic. The half built flyover is rusted and material degraded. It won't last long before collapse. It's better to demolish the structure and clear it. Metro can be planned for better infra planning.
I used to stay at Koramangala 1st block and going to work at EGL Domluru between year 2004 to 2008, via Sony Circle and Ejipura junction. That time there was no much traffic issues, and drive was good. Things changed a lot now.
We should crete a law where the infrastructure projects should not be stopped doesn't matter which government comes under power and infrastructure and development should be a constitutional right then only this issue can be solved
Just give wfh where ever possible, half the problems will be solved. Make online education compulsary

@@vignesh.mvicky8340 I just said give wfh if a person can work remotely. Education can be online was well, much safer than travelling in Bangalore. I never said others not to work or stay at home for life. There are many jobs where you need to be present in office. At least those people can travel peacefully.

It's better if they complete this project..In just one week i saw around 10 to 15 accident's in night time.. While people thinking to go home and take rest after the 8 hours of work..Taking a risk and crossing this monument..

Bane for sure Karnataka needs to think global not think local and ask for Kannada sign boards and talk in kanad which is a useless language other than in Karnataka until they change thier mindset this state is heading for a disaster
